So I have just returned from dropping my mom off at the airport and oh how I miss her already. We had a great weekend! Friday she arrived and then we drove up to our house at the same time my sister had arrived from Oklahoma so Friday night was filled with lots of girl talk. My poor husband....wait no not really I am out-numbered everyday.
Saturday was a blast. I woke up and got to enjoy my sister and mom some more while I think Brandon got to relax with the kiddos watching their new obsession Meet the Robinsons. Then onto my baby shower which I was so touched by the work and effort so many friends put into this. My best friend Jennifer even got to come , and she is 33 weeks pregnant. I have known her since we were 12 years old. There was enough food to feed a whole army of preggos and tons of good conversation. I was showered with so much pink and loved every minute of it. One of my favorite moments had to be all of my "mom" friends complementing each other on how nice we all looked. It's amazing what a little make-up and time can do for a girl! I guess we don't see each other in make up very often. I really had an amazing time and feel so very blessed by all the love and support I have in my life.
And then there was Valentine's Day. Which was a lot of fun. Being 7 months pregnant I wasn't up for much "going out" but I had an amazing time hanging out with my 4 favorite Valentines. My mom , Brandon, Hudson and Foster made me feel so appreciated and loved. I received the most meaningful card from Brandon , it was a wordy gushy card so I will spare all the details, but it made me realize that Brandon does notice all that I do. And he got me some great goodies for the hospital when I have Zoe.
